Sun Haoyue, 15 years old, hails from Beijing, China. Growing up in a family rich in artistic influence, he developed a profound connection with classical music early on, igniting an endless curiosity and passion for the musical world. At the age of 7, he began studying piano with pianist Ren Yan. Through remarkable perseverance and self-discipline, he successfully strived a balance between academic performance and musical learning, embarking on a challenging journey of musical development.

With extraordinary talent and focus, Sun Haoyue has made a remarkable start in the field of music. At the age of 12, he successfully held his first solo concert and collaborated multiple times with the Beijing Symphony Orchestra. By the age of 13, he achieved outstanding results, earning both the LTCL Piano Level 6 Diploma in Music Performance and the ABRSM Level 6 Diploma in Music Performance (LRSM). In 2024, Sun Haoyue took another significant step in his musical journey by studying conducting under conductor Li Jingzhan, a decision that will undoubtedly add more dimensions and depth to his musical career.

To date, he has won over a hundred piano awards, including the 3rd Prize at the 2021 France Music Competition, the 1st Prize at the 31st Young Musician International Competition 'Città di Barletta' in Italy, the 1st Prize at the 2022 International Competition "Music in the Vineyards" in Serbia, the 3rd Prize at the 2022 Young Verona Piano Competition in Italy, and the 1st Prize at the 2022 Franz Liszt Center International Piano Competition in Spain. In 2023, at the age of 13, Sun Haoyue completed a global piano recital tour, a milestone in his journey of music. Collaborating with symphony orchestras, he presented diverse repertoires, including works of Mendelssohn, Beethoven, Chopin and Xian Xinghai.
